My name is Alice Scoggins, and I live western North Carolina, near the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains. Photography has become a passion of mine in the past few years. Even as a child, I always loved being out in nature, enjoying God's creation. Photography gives me the ability to capture some of nature's beauty, enabling me to share it with others.
I invite you to take a journey with me through the images in my galleries. You will find mountain vistas, delicate flowers, and rushing water. I hope you will be inspired to look more closely the next time you take a walk through the woods, or watch the sunset. God's beauty is all around us!
To capture my images, I am currently using a Nikon D200 digital camera, an 18-70 zoom Nikkor lens, a Sigma 105mm Macro lens, a Nikkor 70-300 zoom lens, a Gitzo 2220 tripod, and an assortment of filters and accessories. Some earlier images were captured with the Nikon D70.
I live with my husband Gene, our son Stephen and our Dachshund Roxy. Please feel free to contact me if you are interested in purchasing a print or some notecards.
